6th Week Reflection

Do you know what guys, we are now in the sixth week of our life in UM! That's mean 1 month and two week! Wow! As the time running very fast, our study become more and more serious! More work, less rest! Doing this task, submit that task! Designing this, designing that! But, it's good for us as it prepare us to be ready to face the real world outside which are more crazy and challenging!

Now, let me refresh what have we done on this week. At first, our lecturer told us that our module is ready. What? O.M.G! That's mean more work are coming! Mhm... After all of us have received our module, we discuss it with our lecturer. She gave explanation on how to do it. To be honest, the module was so thick! We only have two weeks to finish all the task!

No time to be wasted. We began our task immediately starting from the moment Pn. Foziah stop giving explanation. Mhm... I think, that's all for this week. I must stop now and doing my module as soon as possible. Otherwise, I'm not going to be able to finish the module on time! Bye guys!

5th Week Reflection

Hi guys! Here we are, meeting once again in the fifth week of my new life in UM.Overall, this week is one of the busiest time for me. There are a lot of things that need to be done!

First of all, during the class, our lecturer have given a task which had to be done in pair. The task was to search for as many resources as we can. After that, we need to design one complete lesson based on the year and topic of pupils in the primary school. The topic and year was assigned by our lecturer. As for my partner and I, we have been assigned to do topic number 3 for year 4, 5, and 6.

Year 4, topic 3: Healthy living
Year 5, topic 3: Save our environment
Year 6, topic 3: Fit as a fiddle

The most difficult part is, we must decide on which resource that we want to use in every stages of the lesson.

For one lesson, there are 5 stages which are;

1. Induction stage,
2. Pre-stage,
3. While stage,
4. Post stage, and
5. Follow up stage.

To begin with our searching, we must thin of what kind of lesson that we wanted. After that, we can start our quest of searching and collecting our teaching aids. At first, I found difficulty in doing this assignment. But thanks to my partner because with her help, we manage to complete our work and submit it on Thursday. Fuh! Thanks god!

Actually, these assignment have given a lot of benefits to me. This is because, it had taught me on how to be more effective in searching for material/teaching aids. It also a good practice as I'm going to be a teacher in the future. When I become a teacher one day, I must not take things for granted. Instead, I must work hard, looking for as many resource as I could to make them as my teaching aids for my pupils. Then only I can be a good teacher!

4th Week Reflection

Hi guys!Here we are meeting once again!New week, new chapter!This time around, I will reflects briefly about our fourth class of resources course. First of all, Pn. Foziah gave a reminder to all of us to keep updating our blog. After that, the class continue with group presentation. Everything was going well with all of us paying attention and jotting down some notes. Finished with the group presentation, Pn. Foziah told us that we are going to learn something new for today which are;
1. How to search for song
2. How to download a video with moyea downloader
3. How to search for lyric



Before she taught us how to do all that, she first gave us a task to search "waka waka" mp3 and lyric. I have successfully done all the task, since I used to download mp3 from the internet.

After all of us have completing the task, she started giving a lecture on how to download video of flv format by using 'moyea downloader'. She first demonstrated to us on how to download 'moyea downloader' software into our computer step by step. It was so easy and not so complicated as I think earlier. When we have successfully download moyea downloader into computer, then we will be able to use it to download video. To be honest, I never heard about 'moyea'. I always used other sotware such as 'Youtube Catcher' to download video. However, after I try to download a video with 'moyea', I agree that 'moyea' is the best software to download video. Thanks to her, I now being able to download video a lot easier and faster than before.




To rap up our class on that day, Pn. Foziah gave us several task to do and told us to submit them this Monday. So guys, let me end my reflection here and start doing my task now. See ya!

3rd Week

Hello guys!This is a third week for me in UM!O.M.G!The clock was ticking so fast!And I haven't done my reflection yet!So, when I woke up this morning, I tell to myself that I must finish it by today!Let me start by telling what happened on that day.

First of all, our lecturer told us to form a group of 6. She then assigned each group to prepare a power point presentation regarding to different topics in our text book. My group have been assigned to make presentation on the topic of "Children's Creative Use of Limited Language Resources". In order to prepare the power point, it is very important for us to understand the topic first. According to my understanding, this topic was actually about children creativity in using the language in terms of; grammatical form, concepts, creates new words.

This phenomenon is fundamental to their language developments. Most of the children will undergoes this process while they were acquiring their mother tongue. It actually happened to them even without help. It can be occurred to them naturally when the need to communicate has been temporarily intensified by some activity which generates real interaction or calls on the imagination.

Therefore, in other to make the most of the creative language skills with the children, we must provide them with several occasion or situation so that they can communicate and interact with one another. By doing so, we can expand their creativity of using the language. For example is conducting a language games. Children loves games and through games, they can experienced learning by themselves and at the same time can expanding their creativity of using language in difference ways.

Besides of my group's topic, my other friends have presented their topic very well. To rap up, I must say that the most important thing that we learned on that day was a teacher must be creative in using difference resources in teaching the children in the classroom. When the teacher is creative in conducting the lesson, the children at the same time will be creative too as they learn in such a fun, exciting, and creative ways!
